Pricing, Adoption & Application Details
We know what a huge deal it is to welcome a new family member into your home! That being said we are honored to be considered for such an important role in your life & we want to make sure that you are educated in your decision making process. Please take time to read the following before proceeding to commit to the life of one of our beloved Australian Labradoodles. We want to ensure that our pups are going to their forever homes!
It is important to go into pet ownership with realistic expectations. Puppies are a lot of work and require lots of time and patience!
-There may be sleepless nights early on from puppy adjusting to it's new life!
-Accidents on the carpet.
-You will need to puppy proof your home to protect your puppy & your favorite belongings.
-You will have to be home to let puppy out to potty and exercise.
You are going to get out of your pup what you put into him/her! Training, walking, socialization, play and consistency are key. These are all responsibilities you must prepare to make time for when you decide to adopt a puppy. We recommend you hire a trainer to build a firm foundation and avoid frustration and bad habits from being formed early on!
Your Doodle will need groomed on a regular basis. Please read our

Puppy Adoption Information:
We are very involved with all of our puppies and dogs. We put in a lot of time, effort and money. We fall in love with each one, and they are all very much a part of our family. With that being said it is our goal to make sure our pups are going to a home where they will be loved, cherished and spoiled, forever. If you are unsure if you are ready for a dog, or do not have the time to devote to a dog, please do not apply.
At Greystone, our pups are bred to have loving, friendly, intelligent personalities and even temperaments. We match puppies to their families by gender, temperament and color. We will do our best to provide you with a puppy that is everything you are hoping for.
A sequence of events once you are assigned to a litter:
When puppies are born, you will be sent a puppy birth announcement and birth pictures. At least every two weeks we will send an update along with new pictures. Please be aware that puppies change drastically between birth and 6 months of age, and most will end up being very similar in look once the coat is fully developed. We will also take quick photos and videos in between these updates & post those to our Greystone Facebook page. If you want to follow those pictures and updates, please visit Facebook and “like” our page at
WE DO NOT SHIP OUR PUPPIES UNATTENDED! All of our puppies must be picked up in person or flown with a nanny. We are glad to drive within a couple of hours to meet at a designated place. We can meet you at Detroit, Toledo or Ft. Wayne airports if you are flying in to pick up your puppy. We offer a nanny service to hand deliver your puppy to the airport of your choice. With our nanny service, you would provide round-trip airfare & a service fee of $500.
When the puppies are born we require a second payment of $1250, or you may pay the remaining balance at this time.
Health warranty, signed contract & the remaining balance of $1250 are due when puppy reaches 6 weeks of age. This applies to everyone, even families picking up their puppy in person.
*We do reserve the right to assign puppies which are not paid for in full by 7 weeks of age to another family. A reminder of final payment is sent out when pups turn 5 weeks old, which gives plenty of time for payment to be received promptly. This ensures checks have time to clear before puppies are released. Payments minus $500 deposit will be returned in this case, for our time and inconvenience.
At 7-8 weeks of age, we will finalize our assessments of each puppy, and look at what each family has indicated on their wishlist. By now we know you & them well! Gender, temperament, color and size are narrowed down. In the best interest of family and pupster we reserve the right to help assign puppies to the family that is the best fit for them. We definitely take into account all of your preferences with gender and temperament being at the top of the list, color falling behind those but definitely considered. Trust that it is important to us that you are completely satisfied!
Puppies will be assigned to their forever family between 7-8 weeks of age.
*Any puppies that need held here by us longer than 9 weeks of age will require a boarding fee of $30 per day.
